Prohibition Entertainment introduces to our artist, Traedonya. Traedonya is currently on her U.S. tour. More info on Traedonya:

** Traedonya is a former church-singer turned trained jazz vocalist turned ‘hip-hopera’ singer
** At an early age Traedonya became part of X-Clan from that group’s inception
** She has worked extensively with Large Professor – he is her mentor and was instrumental in helping her get her first record deal with Elektra and produced her first real demo
** Her band Sample This! was signed to Elektra in the early 90s
** Through hanging out with Large Professor, Traedonya witnessed first-hand the early days of artists such as Nas, Pete Rock, Q-Tip and more
** She has sung and/or played with : Etta James, Devante Swing (of Jodeci), Afrika Bambaataa, Ziggy Marley, Burning Flame and many others
** She attended New York’s prestigious New School conservatory and trained as a jazz vocalist
** While at New School she worked and studied with jazz greats Reggie Workman, Bernard Purdie and Chico Hamilton
